Dubai is heading for a distinct future and the stepping stone has been established now. The authority has cleared the permission for the floating island in Dubai. The Dubai based Nakheel developer has got the green signal for the ambitious project which would be part of their world project for Floating Islands.
Oqyana Real Estate and Amillarah Private Islands said that the all permits have been given to the developers and 33 luxury private islands to be floated soon in Dubai. It is interesting know that Nakheel is a government approved entity and this has become the first approved project of floating islands in the world. The authorities confirmed that islands will garden, pool and beach of course to enthrall the people.
The Holland based company Amillarha Private Islands confirmed that they are building the project with experience of water. The CEO said that the Dutch has the experience of water and that is being brought back at the project. It will be a long lasting and environment friendly project. The company confirmed that the islands will last for more than 100 years without much maintenance. There will be new habitat for the marine life as well under the islands. As of now, no hazardous element has come out from the floating islands. However, the company has confirmed that they will not go for sales unless everything is properly engineered. The company is also working on the similar projects in Maldives and in Miami, United States.
The World Project will be 9 Km Wide and 7 Km Long at the Dubai Beach font. It will be adding around 231 Km of addition beachfront for Dubai. According to the authorities, the islands will be of different sizes starting from 150,000 square feet to 450,000 square feet. This is multipurpose project and commercial zones, resorts, public visiting areas and many others will co-exist together.
